Dr Stya Paul, late Founder-Chairman of Apeejay Education, who is an inspiration behind all Apeejay Education Institutions, along with the able support of her wife Smt. Rajeshwari Paul, incepted Rajeshwari Kala Sangam at Jalandhar. Its noble mission was to bring fine arts from the fringes of the curriculum to the folds. It has ever since evolved as a unique temple of arts, where rarest opportunities are provided to the younger generations to know and appreciate their rich arts and culture.
Thus, the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Rajeshwari Kala Sangam and Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar along with the 6th Rajeshwari Kala Mahotsav stand out to be momentous and historic. And during this auspicious moment in the presence of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, Dr. Neha Berlia, Co-Promoter, Apeejay Stya and Svran Group and Pro-Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, Dr. Sucharita Sharma, Director, Apeejay Education, and Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, dedicated the Rajeshwari Stya Auditorium to Dr Stya Paul and Smt. Rajeshwari Paul.

Sharing her thoughts on the occasions, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia expressed, “Dr. Stya Paul Ji was always an art lover, and he aspired to make art accessible to the masses. It was actually his foresight and vision that led to Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar being known today as the ‘Cradle of Art and Creativity’, where many art forms are taught and passed on to the generation of students.”
Regarding the newly renovated Rajeshwari Stya Auditorium, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia further said that it has been built and upgraded according to international standards, with the latest equipment installed. She expressed confidence that student-artists would find inspiration here and that it would give new wings to their creativity and perceptions.
