‘Moonlit’s Hope’ : Poem by Paridhi Bansal, Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar

The night was dark, but we had the moon.

Everyone was scared, so we planned to leave soon.

The positivity of moon, captivated us all,

We started to enjoy, no more thinking of the hall.

The nature was calm, the moon was bright,

We let go of worries and so called diet. 

Moonlight serenades, we wake up late,

Sooner or later, our day is made.

Everything required, we have near us,

We travel by foot, instead of a bus. 

Nature being healer, gives us all, 

Seeking of someone, we don’t have to call.

Care for nature, the moonlit serenade, 

We went for happiness, neither we paid.

The emotions are endless, everything good,

It’s the way of life, while not dependent on mood! 

Moon has craters, it is far,

It is beautiful, spotlight in luminous bar. 

Embracing nature’s peace,we stop stressing.

It’s a precious gift, not less than a blessing!
