‘Mom and Me Program is a collaborative effort based on the play leading to progress’

Why did you choose Apeejay Kinderworld for your kids?

I reside in CR Park and when I was looking for an apt school for my son, I checked several schools. But when I visited Rhythms, I experienced a fantastic homely environment. I have even spoken to the Principal here and requested that this school should be extended till class I at least.

How is the faculty here?

The teachers are extremely interactive and enthusiastic. Since my son is young and isn’t able to speak properly, the teachers are helping him build his communication skills. They connect so well with me at every interpersonal level which is such a blessing. So after I had my second child – my daughter, I straight away decided to enrol her in Rhythms without a second thought.

Tell us about the Mom and Me Program.

This programme is effective at so many levels. This initiative is a wholesome experience on its own. This interactive session made me learn about motor skills, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills, which I enjoy with my 14-month-old daughter. Though both my children are notorious, they are handled so well and efficiently by the teachers here. I have been attending this programme for one-and-a-half hours daily thrice a week.  

How is the school environment?

My daughter has started to explore the classroom among other things. Her motor skills are nuanced, and her holding and gripping body movements are being enhanced here. All the teachers here are akin to mothers for my child. The environment is so conducive and friendly and my burden as a parent has been taken care of so well.

What activities do your kids enjoy most at school?

There are plenty of activities that my children actively participate in which focus on their physical and emotional development. There is one very interesting activity wherein the children are milking a cow made from clay and rubber. This helped my children develop sensory and cognitive skills too.

How is the Mom and Me Program influential and helpful for parents?

I would recommend this programme to all the parents. It is interactive and designed in a manner where the mother can watch her child explore so many new things and learning experiences. This time spent helps in enhancing the bond between the mother and child. Most importantly, the mother learns about how to raise the child in effective ways, thought processes and behaviour of the child.
