How are the teachers prepping her for the Boards ahead?
The teachers are following a structured approach to prep students for upcoming Boards. There was focus on timely completion of the syllabus and teachers emphasised to be thorough with the NCERT books as the first priority, they enhanced practice through worksheets and mock tests as pre-Boards. Teachers are also conducting doubt-clearing sessions to ensure students are exam-ready. Time management and exam strategy tips are also being shared to help students ace their exams.
How is the pedagogy structured?
The structure is quite robust! It blends interactive teaching methods with project-based learning, ensuring students engage deeply with concepts. Regular assessments and feedback help track progress, while the focus on critical thinking and problem-solving sharpens minds. Tech integration further enhances the learning experience. Overall, Apeejay’s student-centric approach aims at holistic development.
What are her plans now?
She’s planning to pick an Humanities and simultaneously pursue theatre. Arts subjects’ will complement her theatre passion perfectly. She can explore themes and storytelling through her academics and apply them to her performances. Apeejay School has clubs and groups that’ll help her in taking her passion ahead.
How do you handle her studies at home?
At home she has a study routine and a dedicated study space and it works wonders. She’s on point with her study slots with adequate breaks in between. We keep check on distractions for proper time management. We also ensure she gets one hour daily to engage in outdoor activity to keep her body and mind healthy. A proper family support gives her an extra push to manage her studies.
How is the parent-teacher interaction here?
It conducts regular PTMs where parents get updates on their child’s progress, strengths, and areas to improve. Any additional query is also addressed very meticulously by the teachers and the school staff.
