Departmental activities in MBA programs are essential for enhancing student learning and professional growth. These activities, like workshops, seminars, competitions, and guest lectures, provide practical exposure that complements theoretical knowledge. They help students build skills in areas such as leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving—qualities critical in management. Engaging in departmental events also allows students to apply classroom concepts to real-world situations, fostering a deeper understanding of industry challenges. Additionally, they promote networking with professionals, which can be invaluable for internships and job placements after graduation.
Thus, Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka recently held “The “MindMaze: Operations Edition” , a dynamic and insightful event aimed at enhancing participants’ knowledge and skills in key areas of Operations Management.

Covering vital concepts like Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, Logistics and Distribution, Procurement and Sourcing, Global Operation Challenges, and Lean and Agile Operations, the competition allowed MBA students to delve into these topics in an engaging, competitive environment. It not only tested their theoretical knowledge but also their practical problem-solving abilities essential for the field of operations.
The event concluded with the announcement of winners: Navya and Ojhal achieved the first position, followed by Navita and Vanishka in second, and Ayushi and Vaishnavi in third place. Each team demonstrated their analytical abilities, adaptability, and understanding of operations principles through the challenges presented in the competition.
Sharing his thoughts, President of the Club Himanshu Bhatt expressed, “Students’ dedication and passion for learning have made this event truly special.
