MBA students attend an enlightening  mindfulness workshop

The Vyaktitv IV workshop, titled “Unleash Your Super Powers with Mindfulness,” was successfully conducted by Priyamvda Puri, an esteemed alumna of Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka. The event highlighted mindfulness as a transformative tool for personal and professional growth, offering participants actionable strategies to enhance focus, creativity, and emotional intelligence.

Priyamvda Puri, with her extensive expertise in wellness and mindfulness, emphasised the power of being fully present. Through engaging, interactive sessions, participants explored techniques such as mindful breathing, body awareness, and thought management. These practices were presented as key to building resilience, managing stress, and fostering better decision-making. By integrating mindfulness into everyday life, attendees were equipped to navigate challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

Adding depth to the workshop, Priyanka, a seasoned storyteller, collaborated with Priyamvda to showcase how mindfulness can elevate creativity and storytelling skills. She shared insights on crafting compelling narratives and enhancing communication, both for personal expression and professional excellence. The combination of mindfulness and storytelling was particularly well-received, offering a fresh perspective on self-expression and interpersonal connection.

The event served as a dynamic platform for learning and personal development, leaving attendees inspired to incorporate mindfulness into their lives. It underscored ASM’s commitment to fostering holistic growth among its community. The practical takeaways and insightful discussions made it a valuable experience for all participants.

Sharing her thoughts,  Kaifi Malik, a second year PGDM student expressed, “Attending this workshop was a transformative experience. The techniques shared, like mindful breathing and body awareness, helped me manage stress and stay more focused, which is crucial for my PGDM studies. I realised how often I function on autopilot, and the workshop gave me practical tools to stay present. Priyanka Ma’am’s storytelling session highlighted how mindfulness can also improve communication, something I found valuable for presentations. Overall, the workshop taught me how to incorporate mindfulness into my routine, helping me better navigate both academic and personal challenges.

Another second year student Shivom Gupta highlighted, “The mindfulness workshop was an enlightening experience. It provided practical strategies, like mindful breathing and thought management, that helped me handle stress and improve focus during my PGDM journey. I found the idea of mindfulness enhancing creativity and problem-solving particularly useful, especially for group projects. The storytelling session showed me how mindfulness can sharpen communication skills, which I can apply in presentations and professional interactions. This workshop equipped me with tools to stay calm and focused under pressure, making it a valuable experience for both personal growth and academic success.”
