Apeejay School of Management (ASM) hosted the vibrant and interactive Monsoon Call Out Festival, aimed at fostering risk tolerance and encouraging team spirit among students through a series of fun-filled activities and challenges. The festival was a dynamic event, designed to engage the first-year PGDM students (2023-25 batch) by challenging them with tasks set by their seniors from the second-year PGDM batch (2022-24). A total of 11 teams from the senior batch devised 32 different challenges, ensuring that the day was packed with excitement, learning, and collaboration.

The festival was inaugurated by Dr. Etinder Pal Singh, Deputy Director of Apeejay School of Management (ASM), and Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director of Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC). Both dignitaries not only kicked off the festival with motivating words but also participated in a few of the games, setting the tone for an inclusive and engaging event.
The day was filled with enthusiasm as students took on challenges ranging from physical tests to mental games, with prizes and goodies up for grabs. Some of the highlights included the Whisper Challenge, Blindfold Water Challenge, Bucket Coin Game, Clap Clap Twirl, Spin and Walk, Arm Wrestling Challenge, and Balloon Burst. The spirit of friendly competition permeated the event, with both students and faculty members joining in the activities.

In the highly anticipated Challenge Championship, the female winners were Sneha Kumari, who secured first place by winning 10 challenges, followed by Shweta Yadav with 8 wins, and Vanshika, who bagged third place with 5 victories. Among the male participants, Ritesh took the top spot with 7 wins, Ramit followed with 5, and Vishesh rounded off the top three with 4 successful challenges.
The Monsoon Call Out Festival was the brainchild of Dr. Srirang Jha, Head of the General Management Area, and was integrated into the course on Entrepreneurship Development. The concept required the organising teams to create buzz for their activities, attract participants, and generate revenue — all with a maximum investment of Rs. 1000. The event offered a hands-on opportunity for students to develop their entrepreneurial skills while encouraging teamwork and strategic thinking. The core organising team included Yogita Ahuja, Priyadarshini Sharma, Sonakshi Panda, and Mohit, whose efforts ensured the seamless execution of the festival.

In conclusion, the Monsoon Call Out Festival was a great success, providing students with a platform to test their risk tolerance, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities while promoting camaraderie and fun.
