Maternal magic: Understanding the mother-child connection

A long time ago, a Greek philosopher once said, ’A mother and child may never truly part, maybe in distance but never in heart.’ In our life, from our birth to our eventual death, we meet many people.
This road of life takes us through many twists and turns, on each corner sitting a new person, a unique individual. We form many relationships along the way, whether it is as a friend, a brother, a son/daughter, a grandchild, or whether it is as a father, uncle or even a grandfather.

But even among these various relationships, these connections, the true bond of love lies between a mother and a child. That mother, who gave us birth, who brought us into this world.
In the cradle of her arms, a child finds his first home. Guiding a child through the various challenges of childhood, the bond is beyond comprehension. No scientist or psychologist can tell how deep this bond goes.
A mother is a guiding light in the times of darkness, a beacon of hope in a child’s darkest nights. Without a mother, a child finds himself on a lonely island, far away from the shore of bustling humanity.
A mother, a child, both are inseparable. Even if circumstances force them to get away from each other in distances, no obstacle in the world can truly extinguish the fire of love between these two intimate beings.
A mother, crying with the child when he is sad, nevertheless comforting him to always stand up again and try, always happy when her child is happy, is the closest thing a child could ever had.
Holding her finger, a child learns to walk. No materialistic things in the world can satisfy the child when her mother is not there, her familiar care is only what the child needs. God knows what not does the mother do for her child.
Every time thinking in the best interest of her child, correcting him when he makes a mistake, sometimes angry, sometimes loving. For a mother and a child, the other is the most beautiful thing on earth.

A mother and a child are the two sides of the same face. A mother’s love is an endless sea, her unwavering support a constant guide to her child, supporting him day-in and day-out.
Through every trial, a mother stands by a child, her embrace giving the child uncountable strength. A mother, till her last breath, nurtures her child’s dreams.
Her dream, to see her child successful. Her sacrifices, which are too numerous to count, just to see her child contented and happy. Even when a child grows up, every time a child faces a problem, every time he faces an obstacle, he is remembered of the good old days, when her mother, her embrace like a key that can open any lock, was always standing beside him.
Any problem seemed to flee by the infinite power her mother seemed to radiate. She is the role model for her child, a symbol of compassion, of hope, a testament to the power of light even in the darkest nights.
As I stand here today, I always remember my mother, who has a special place in my heart. And till the moon and the sun shines, this connection shall never break, an epitome of true love, an eternal ray.
