Soaring to scholastic heights with poise and purpose, these toppers of Class XI (academic year 2024-25) from Apeejay School, Greater Noida, have stepped into Class XII as paragons of discipline, determination, and drive. Their journey has been nothing short of extraordinary — an elegant blend of tireless effort, strategic planning, and an unyielding thirst for knowledge.
Meet Ansh Agarwal, Sharanya Rastogi and Sanchi Saxena, who scored 95.07%, 84% and 81% in the Science stream final exams. Sharing about his preparation strategy, Ansh said, “Daily revision of classroom content, timely homework completion, and a strong focus on understanding concepts and framing answers properly are key strategies which I followed. Instead of following a fixed timetable, I set personal goals each day based on the workload, ensuring consistent progress and effective time management without added pressure.”
Sharanya explained that her main strategy was making notes and memorising everything while writing. “I didn’t have a particular time for studying, I always studied whenever I felt the most motivated or whenever I had the will to learn something new. There wasn’t a particular schedule or timetable that I followed, though I tried to give more time to subjects that seemed tougher to me,” she said.
As for Sanchi, staying consistent was the key to success. “I prepared the best I could and followed a disciplined timetable throughout the year. I focused more on the subject in which I thought I was weak, which in my case was Physics. I followed the NCERT along with some revision videos online. I studied for five hours daily on weekdays and more on weekends. I aimed to utilise holidays in the best way possible. I ensured that I took regular breaks in between, along with maintaining nutrition and hydration, ” she shared.
As these young achievers transformed routine study hours into moments of brilliance, guided by the mentorship of dedicated teachers and the steadfast support of proud parents, all of them dealt with numerous challenges, too.
“The most challenging part was writing answers during exams under stress. I overcame it by practising and writing a lot,” shared Ansh.
For Sharanya and Sanchi, “The most challenging part of exams was to complete and memorise the vast syllabus and also solving and understanding the numerical and questions that followed. We overcame it by completing my syllabus as soon as possible, by revising everything that was taught in school the same day itself, and practising questions.”
Now with intellect as their compass and ambition as their wind, they are charting a path towards excellence, inspiring peers and proving that greatness is born not of luck, but of relentless perseverance.
