Activities like excursions to recreational play zones are crucial for school students as they promote physical health, enhance cognitive development, and foster social skills. They encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving while providing a break from traditional learning. Such experiences contribute to well-rounded growth and help build lasting friendships among peers.
For the same, the pre-primary students of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, recently embarked on an exhilarating excursion to PlayBox in Noida. A vibrant recreational play zone tailored for young children. This outing provided a fantastic opportunity for the little ones to immerse themselves in a world of fun and adventure, fostering physical and cognitive growth.

“If we want to raise our well-rounded kids who will grow up to become global citizens, we must explore the world with them. The students of nursery and kindergarten explored the activities at PlayBox, a unique play facility that is action-packed, interactive, and loads of fun. This is a space where kids call the shots by exploring and defining their meaning of play in a clean, safe, and secure environment,” Ms Mini Khurana, Pre-primary teacher at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, said.
Upon arrival, the children were greeted by a playground brimming with excitement, featuring an array of engaging activities like soft-play equipment, ball pits, slides, and interactive zones. The safety-focused design of the play area allowed them to explore freely while indulging in age-appropriate activities that sparked their curiosity and creativity.
Throughout the day, the students dove into various games that nurtured essential skills like teamwork, coordination, and communication. With teachers and staff members closely supervising and guiding them, the environment was both supportive and educational, ensuring that every child had a chance to shine and engage with their peers.

Snack breaks were a highlight, providing the children with the energy needed to keep the fun going. The air was filled with laughter and chatter as they shared their exciting experiences, each child eager to recount their favourite moments. Whether sliding down a colourful slide or tumbling into a ball pit, the joy on their faces was unmistakable.
As the day drew to a close, the pre-primary students returned to school with big smiles and a treasure trove of memories. The excursion not only offered them a delightful escape from routine but also reinforced the importance of play in their early development, leaving them buzzing with excitement for future adventures.
