Apeejay School, Saket, organised an enriching educational excursion to Rangmanch Farms for students of Grades 3 to 9, offering them a refreshing opportunity to step away from textbooks and experience learning in a natural, hands-on environment. The visit was designed to introduce students to rural traditions, sustainable living and cultural practices through immersive activities.

A Day Rooted in Nature and Tradition

Set amidst open fields and earthy landscapes, Rangmanch Farms welcomed students into a setting that reflected the simplicity and richness of village life. From the moment they arrived, learners were surrounded by sights, sounds and experiences that encouraged curiosity and observation. Traditional décor, mud pathways and green spaces created an atmosphere that helped students connect with nature while understanding the rhythm of rural living.

The excursion featured a wide range of interactive activities that blended fun with learning. Students participated in traditional games, explored farming tools and observed everyday practices that form the backbone of agrarian life. These experiences helped them understand where food comes from, how resources are used responsibly and why sustainability matters in today’s fast-changing world. Engaging demonstrations and guided interactions ensured that students absorbed key lessons in an enjoyable and age-appropriate manner.

Building Life Skills Through Experience

Beyond academic knowledge, the visit encouraged essential life skills such as teamwork, communication and problem-solving. Working together during activities fostered cooperation and empathy, while exposure to a different lifestyle helped students develop respect for diverse ways of living. Such experiential learning plays a vital role in shaping socially aware and environmentally conscious individuals.

Learning That Leaves a Lasting Impact

The excursion to Rangmanch Farms proved to be more than just a recreational outing. It reinforced classroom concepts related to environmental studies, social science and value education in a meaningful way. By engaging directly with nature and culture, students gained insights that textbooks alone cannot offer.

The initiative reflected Apeejay School, Saket’s commitment to holistic education, where learning extends beyond the classroom to nurture well-rounded, thoughtful and curious learners. The visit left students inspired, informed and eager to explore the world around them with renewed appreciation.
