Maybe it is true: Ice-creams and chocolates can indeed make everyone happy!  And so to celebrate the love for chocolates, World Chocolate Day is observed on July 7 to honour this delectable treat loved by many around the world.

This is the perfect day to indulge in chocolatey delights, appreciate its rich history and savour its diverse flavours. From silky smooth milk chocolate to the darker varieties, chocolate brings joy and sweetness to our lives. Eating chocolate in moderation, especially dark chocolate, can also offer health benefits such as improving mood, boosting brain functions, providing antioxidants, promoting heart health, and potentially reducing the risk of certain diseases.

Thus, the primary department of Apeejay School, Noida, planned the following activities to celebrate this delightful occasion for its young chocolate enthusiasts. Class 1 students decorated a chocolate muffin/choco-pie using colourful Gems candies. This activity enhanced their creative expressions and loco-motor skills. Later, they shared the choco-pies with their classmates and relished it together.

The solo enactment activity, ‘Be like a chocolate, act like one’ was held for class 2 students. All students enjoyed participating in it with utmost zeal as they showcased their performing skills. Amidst the joyful celebrations, they also learnt some lip-smacking chocolate recipes from their teachers.
