JoSAA counselling 2025 begins from June 3, 2025

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has officially announced the counselling schedule for admissions to prestigious engineering institutions, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutes for the academic year 2025–26. The counselling process will commence on June 3, 2025, and will be conducted in five rounds, concluding with a final round specifically for IITs and NIT+ institutions on July 16.

A total of 8,33,536 candidates appeared for JEE Main 2025, out of which 7,75,383 have qualified and are eligible to participate in the counselling process, provided they also qualify for JEE Advanced 2025. The JEE Advanced 2025 result is scheduled to be released on June 2 at jeeadv.ac.in. 

Candidates seeking admission to architecture courses must also clear the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). Architecture-specific choices will become available after the AAT results are declared on June 8.

During the counselling period, candidates can explore their options via two mock seat allotments before locking in their final preferences.
