Job opportunities in India have increased in last 10 years: Survey

The number of job openings/ opportunities in India have increased in the last 10 years, 50% respondents in a survey report titled ‘India Consumer Sentiment Index (CSI)’, stated. 53% of the female population have a positive outlook regarding this since they believe there is a raise in the number of jobs available for women as well. Moreover, younger age groups between 18 to 25 years also opine that job opportunities have increased overtime, as per the report.
This survey was conducted by Axis My India, a consumer data intelligence company. Its findings suggest that among the top professions in the country 25% prefer their children to enroll in the government services, 16% want them to be in the medical profession while 10% will choose fields related to Engineering, Computer application, and IT. Further, a majority of 35% are of the view that their children should do whatever they want to do.
