The National Testing Agency is expected to release the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 2 admit card on its official portal. With the second session of the exam set to begin in early April, candidates should monitor the website regularly and download their hall tickets as soon as they are available at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Based on past patterns, the NTA generally issues admit cards three to five days before the exam. Since Session 2 is likely to start on April 2, the admit cards are expected to be released in the final week of March. Once released, candidates will be able to access them by logging into the JEE Main portal.
The admit card serves as a mandatory document for entry into the exam centre. It contains key information including the exam centre location, date of the test, shift timing, reporting schedule, and important instructions to be followed on the exam day. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without it. They should also carefully check all details printed on the document and report any errors without delay.
JEE Main continues to draw a large number of applicants each year. While the official figures for Session 2 registrations in 2026 have not yet been released, estimates suggest that around 10 to 11 lakh candidates may appear, in line with recent trends.
To download the admit card, candidates need to visit the official website, select the Session 2 admit card link, log in using their application number and password or date of birth, and download the document for future use.
It is advisable to keep a printed copy ready for the exam day and stay updated through official announcements.
