The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the final answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 today on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to access and download the answer key online using their login credentials.
The release of the final answer key marks an important step in the result declaration process, as it incorporates all corrections made after reviewing the objections raised by candidates against the provisional answer key. Once published, the final key will serve as the basis for calculating the scores and preparing the results.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 was conducted smoothly across multiple centres nationwide from January 21 to January 29, 2026. The exam was held in 10 shifts to accommodate the large number of aspirants. Thousands of students appeared for the highly competitive engineering entrance test, seeking admission to prestigious institutions such as the NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutes.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for the latest updates regarding the answer key and results. After downloading the final answer key, students can estimate their probable scores by matching their responses.
Following the release of the answer key, the results are expected to be announced shortly. The scorecards will include details such as subject-wise marks, overall percentile, and qualifying status for JEE Advanced.
Students should keep their application number and password ready to avoid last-minute delays while accessing the portal. For authentic information, candidates must rely only on official announcements by NTA.
