JEE Main 2025 exam dates to be released soon

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the dates for JEE Main 2025, NEET UG 2025, CUET 2025, and UGC NET 2025 soon. The official exam calendar will be available on the NTA’s website, nta.ac.in. According to the latest updates, the official website for JEE Main 2025 is jeemain.nta.nic.in, and the exam notification is anticipated shortly.

As in previous years, JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in two sessions, serving as the entrance exam for admission to prestigious institutes like NITs, IIITs, and other technical colleges. It also acts as a qualifying test for the IIT JEE Advanced.

A notable update for JEE Mains 2025 is that there will be no optional questions, marking a return to the old pattern. The exam will consist of 25 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Between 2021 and 2024, the JEE Main exam included 90 questions, with candidates required to attempt 75 of them, selecting from optional questions in section B. However, this format has been discarded for the upcoming exam.

Although the exact dates for JEE Main 2025 have not been confirmed, some educational Boards like the Goa Board, have adjusted their class XII exam schedules to provide students ample preparation time, anticipating that JEE Main will conclude by the end of January 2025.

NEET UG, CUET, and UGC NET will also follow soon after the release of the NTA exam calendar. NEET UG will be conducted in a single session, while CUET will be held over multiple shifts. UGC NET is expected to take place twice in 2025.
