At Apeejay School, Pitampura, academic success is not a mere outcome—it’s a tradition, especially when it comes to high-stakes competitive exams like the JEE Advanced. This year, three remarkable students—Jivansh GuptaVasu Gupta, and Adit Bansal—have done their alma mater proud by securing top ranks in the 2025 edition of the exam. Their achievements reflect not only their own grit and discipline but also the school’s focus on providing a balanced and motivating learning environment.

Disciplined From Day One: Jivansh Gupta (AIR 256)

For Jivansh Gupta, success came through consistent effort and early preparation. “Listening carefully in classes and completing enough questions for each chapter,” he shares, was his success mantra. He added, “I did 50 questions per chapter. That felt good enough. I was disciplined about my self-study. I have been preparing for this exam since the middle of Class 10.

Jivansh was quick to credit his school environment for his confidence. “My school teachers were so supportive and motivated me so much. It felt crucial in confidence building,” he said with gratitude. Aspiring to pursue Mathematics or Computer Engineering at IIT Delhi, Jivansh’s sharp focus and early start helped him ace this competitive milestone.

Focused and Calm: Vasu Gupta (AIR 891)

Vasu Gupta believes that comparisons and panic derail students more than anything else. “A lot of kids take too much pressure about how the other kids are preparing. I feel it is unnecessary. Focus on your self-study,” he explained. His strategy was simple yet effective: “Don’t focus on 20–30 books, focus on 2–3 books but complete them thoroughly.

Vasu also acknowledged the role of the school in his journey. “The school teachers helped us balance the school work and self-study preparation,” he said. Despite starting later than most aspirants, he remained steady in his approach: “I studied for 3–4 hours of self-study along with classes. I felt I started too late as many students began studying in middle school, but I did not let it bother me and devoted myself to my work solely.” He now looks forward to pursuing Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay.

Smart Work Over Long Hours: Adit Bansal (AIR 928)

Adit Bansal approached the exam with a strategy of smart, targeted study. “I feel smart and dedicated study throughout the year is the key,” he said. Starting in Class 11, he devoted two years to focused preparation. “More than the number of hours, it is how focused one is during self-study. Make targets and solve assignments. Consistency is key—else you get left behind in topics and it becomes tough to cover.

He too spoke highly of the school’s role in supporting his efforts. “The school teachers solved all my doubts and supported me in my journey,” Adit shared. He now aims to pursue Computer-related courses in one of the top IITs.

The school is proud of them!

These three achievers have not only raised the academic bar for future batches but have also shown that with determination, balance, and the right support system, no goal is too far. Apeejay School, Pitampura, celebrates their success with pride and looks forward to many more such milestones in the years to come.
