In an educational institute, investiture ceremonies play a crucial role. It empowers students by conferring leadership roles, fostering responsibility, and enhancing organisational skills. This event instills values like integrity and teamwork, encouraging students to become role models. Participating in an investiture ceremony shapes character, providing students with an early exposure to leadership, thereby contributing to their personal and academic growth.
Apeejay College of Fine Arts in Jalandhar is always a step forward in instilling leadership qualities among its students. The MAC FORUM of PG Department of Commerce of Apeejay College of Fine Arts recently organised the investiture ceremony. During the ceremony, students possessing leadership qualities were honoured with badges as per their merit.
During the investiture ceremony, Angel Sharma was chosen as President, Rajat as Vice President, Jai as Secretary, Utkarsh and Keshav Arora as Overall Coordinators, Samriddhi as Treasurer, Shivansh and Abhiroop as Event Incharges, Aman and Gagan as Discipline Incharges, Shivanshi and Archa as in charge of stage handling, Nandini and Sanya as In-charge of Creativity, Luvisha and Mehak as In-charge of Cultural Activities, as well as Vansh and Shruti as In-charge of Logistics. All the students were awarded badges.

Further, President Angel Sharma and Vice President Rajat of MAC Forum warmly welcomed Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA, while expressing their gratitude before her and the teachers for trusting them with the responsibility. They further added that they look forward to conducting and participating in the activities and will also encourage other students to participate.
Addressing the students on this occasion, Dr. Dhingra said that assigning responsibilities to the students at the college level prepares them for the future. She added, “The more honestly you handle the responsibilities of your position, the more vigorously you will be able to develop your personality.”
Lastly, Dr. Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Dr. Monica Arora, Head, Department of Commerce, and Ms Garima Arora, Incharge of MAC FORUM, for successfully organising the Investiture Ceremony and inspired them to remain a constant source of inspiration for the students for their overall personality development.
