What are your fondest memories from your time at Apeejay School?

My fondest memories include the vibrant school carnivals, the unforgettable student council days, and those long corridor conversations with friends. These experiences shaped my confidence, leadership, and people skills; all of which continue to play a vital role in my entrepreneurial journey today.

A defining moment.

Once, a stranger asked me for directions to the nearest metro station. I couldn’t help but notice his varsity jacket; it looked familiar. When I asked where he got it from, he casually replied, ‘Dripzy.’ That moment felt surreal. Seeing someone confidently wear something I helped build, without even knowing I was the Co-founder, was quietly powerful. It was a wholesome reminder that our work is out there, making its mark — even when no one’s watching.

Tell us about your clothing brand & what makes it stand out?

Our brand encompasses three distinct labels — Dripzy (custom streetwear), ZOVÉ (quiet luxury), and Jalwa (Gen Z-focused fashion). What sets us apart is our agility and real-time pulse on Gen Z culture. We don’t just follow trends — we lead and define them.

As a Co-founder, how did you find your team or business partners?

One of our biggest hurdles was navigating the legalities of starting a business in India at just 16, without family backing. Getting our company officially registered was a challenge, but we pushed through. As the Co-founder, I leaned on jugaad: Smart, resourceful problem-solving. We started on Instagram, but faced trust issues. So we pivoted to offline sales, personally calling buyers and speaking professionally.

What has shaped your business mindset?

The gym is my reset zone; it keeps me disciplined, both mentally and physically. Building something meaningful meant sacrificing comfort and relationships. It’s tough, but customer feedback makes it all worth it.

How do you plan to scale in the next few years?

Over the next two years, we plan to officially incorporate The Clothing Style, launch Gen Z-centric fests like “Wolf of Wall Street,” build a strong office culture, and develop our mobile app — all while targeting our ₹1 crore milestone. By year three, we aim to move fully into in-house manufacturing (we already have a factory in Noida). In five years, we’re preparing for a public offering to take our journey to the next level.

What does ‘Soaring High is My Nature’ mean to you?

It isn’t just a phrase — it’s a mindset. It’s about consistent growth, quiet progress, and letting the work speak. For me, it’s become a way of life.
