Tell us about yourself.
I am at present, working as a Junior Golang Backend Developer at The Iron Networks. After I completed my post-graduation in MCA from AIMETC (2020-2022 batch), I started working. The good part is that I got this job through the campus placement itself.
How has been your journey at AIMETC?
Reflecting on my two-year post-graduation journey at AIMETC, the time that was filled with academic growth and personal experiences. Beyond the academic trials and tribulations, my friends and I indulged in a variety of activities, creating cherished memories. The college’s canteen, holds a special place in my heart, symbolising the immense joy I had with my friends. In summary, my time at college was nothing short of fabulous.
What made you choose AIMTEC?
Once I was just surfing through the internet and came across the website of this college. After researching, I figured that this institute has a great placement record. But the more important aspect that drew me in was the academic excellence that it was providing. Having read more about this institute convinced me to enroll here. Also, an acquaintance I know had only good things to say about this institute.
Every day spent in college was memorable and by far the best days of my life. During our free time, my friends and I used to sit on the campus grounds and discuss random things.
Did you have the opportunity to participate in internships related to backend development?
Yes. During my academic journey, I gained an opportunity to actively participate in different activities which helped me enhance my skills at the backend level through various internships. These experiences allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge gained in my coursework to real-world projects.
Do you use any technology?
Yes. I leverage Golang and MongoDB as my primary tools. Golang serves as the programming language that empowers me to develop efficient backend solutions which is the in-demand need that aligns well with the demands of modern software development.
Tips for aspiring youngsters who are willing to make a career in your field?
It is very important that you believe in yourself. Once you adopt this formula, there will be nothing that is far from your reach to achieve.
