Investiture Ceremony: Young leaders pledge to lead with dignity and integrity

Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, recently hosted its inaugural Investiture Ceremony, an important event held to formally install the new student council. The ceremony aimed at acknowledging and celebrating the leadership roles of the Head Boy, Head Girl, and other key student positions. The event was graced by Principal Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra, who was the Guest of the Day.

The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge. This was followed by a soulful invocation, setting a respectful and serene tone for the event. The school song was performed, instilling a sense of pride and unity among the attendees.

During the ceremony, the newly appointed Head Boy, Arnav Chopra, and Head Girl, Janvi Sharma, delivered inspiring speeches. They expressed their gratitude and shared their vision for the academic year ahead. The House Prefectorial Board was also felicitated, honouring the House Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects from all four houses.

A significant highlight of the event was the oath-taking ceremony, where Principal Ms. Sangeeta Nistandra administered the oath to the new student leaders. The students pledged to uphold their responsibilities with integrity and dedication.

The ceremony also included the recognition of NOF Olympiad winners, celebrating their academic achievements. A group photograph was taken to capture the moment, followed by a vote of thanks by the coordinator, Ms. Deepti Kaushal. The event concluded with the National Anthem, fostering a sense of patriotism and unity among all attendees.

The Investiture Ceremony was a memorable occasion, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the student leaders of Apeejay School, Tanda Road. It was a day of pride and inspiration for the entire school community.
