The spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship was at its peak as Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram under the banner of its Entrepreneurship Cell – Inovexa, hosted the Spark-Up Pitching Competition 2025. Organised as part of the National Entrepreneurship Challenge, IIT Bombay, the event created a vibrant platform for young minds to present their entrepreneurial ideas and receive expert mentorship.
The competition began with a warm welcome, setting the tone for an inspiring competition. An eminent jury panel, comprising Mr. Nelson Paul (Clustureprotocol.ai & Open Protocol Labs LLC), Mr. Jagbir Singh (Biomolecular Discovery and Solutions Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Aryan Gupta (Talk & Target), Mr. Anubhav Kapoor (Pranshakti Nutrition), and Mr. Ashish Saxena (Sonysales Packaging India Pvt. Ltd.), graced the occasion. Their presence not only lent credibility to the event but also assured participants of valuable guidance from seasoned industry professionals.


Following the jury introduction, Dr. Sonam Raheja, Faculty Coordinator, delivered the inaugural address. She motivated the participants to see entrepreneurship as more than just a career option, but as a journey of creating value, solving problems, and driving societal change.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from Apeejay Stya University students as well as peers from other reputed institutions. Each team delivered pitch presentations showcasing innovative ideas across diverse sectors. The jury provided constructive feedback, applauded originality, and encouraged participants to refine their business models with practical insights.

Sharing her thoughts, Anjali Dagar, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, President, Entrepreneurship Cell – Inovexa, mentioned, “A startup pitch is not just about presenting an idea, it’s about sparking belief that your vision can shape tomorrow.”
After several rounds of engaging pitches, the results were announced to great cheer. Vanshika Jain & Krishna Anand (VIPS & DTU) emerged as the winners for their innovative concept, while Savier Biakings Kamara (ASU) secured the first runner-up position. The third place was jointly bagged by Kanishka Sejwaj and team (K.R. Mangalam University) and Philip J. Dolo (ASU), reflecting the diversity and competitiveness of the event.



The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, the felicitation of jury members, and a heartfelt vote of thanks by the E-Cell team. The Spark-Up Pitching Competition 2025 not only celebrated entrepreneurial spirit but also highlighted ASU’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
The event stood as a testament to how inter-university collaborations fuel creativity, broaden perspectives, and prepare students to be future-ready entrepreneurs.
