Apeejay School, Noida, organised a special Display Board Activity recently, dedicated to the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda, one of India’s greatest spiritual leaders and visionaries. The event provided students with an enriching opportunity to explore his remarkable journey and the timeless values he stood for.

The beautifully designed display boards, created by students, showcased key milestones from Swami Vivekananda’s life, including his early years, his meeting with his guru Ramakrishna Paramhansa, and his historic speech at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893. The boards were adorned with inspirational quotes, photographs, and thoughtful reflections on his philosophy of self-realisation, courage, and service to humanity.

Through this activity, students delved into the essence of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings, particularly his belief in the power of youth and the importance of character-building and moral strength. His message of ‘Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached’ resonated strongly among the young learners, motivating them to strive for excellence and lead purposeful lives.

Teachers guided the students in researching, designing, and presenting their boards, fostering teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking. The collaborative process not only enhanced their understanding of Indian culture and philosophy but also encouraged them to imbibe values of determination, compassion, and self-confidence in their daily lives.

The activity served as a fitting tribute to Swami Vivekananda’s enduring legacy and his vision of empowering the youth to contribute meaningfully to society. It was a truly inspirational learning experience that reflected Apeejay School, Noida’s commitment to holistic education—nurturing not just academic excellence but also moral and spiritual growth among its students.
