Innovative spirit shines in Apeejay’s “Product Pitch Challenge” activity

The Marketing Club at Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka kicked off its academic year’s first club activity with an exciting Product Pitch Challenge. The event showcased the creativity and marketing talent of 1st year students, who developed and presented pitches for products drawn from a list of futuristic and eco-friendly innovations.

Teams had 10-12 minutes to prepare and 2-3 minutes to pitch their products, demonstrating quick thinking and adaptability. The presentations ranged from sustainable technology to cutting-edge wellness solutions, highlighting the innovative spirit of the new batch.

Esteemed faculty members Dr. Ranjit Kaur and Dr. Pragya Arya served as judges, offering valuable feedback and real-world perspectives on product marketing and presentation skills. After careful deliberation, three outstanding teams emerged as winners of the Product Pitch Challenge.

First Position was bagged by Ankit Priyadarshi & Neelam Rathore (Product name – Fit Mirror). Second Position was bagged by Navya Rajpal, Priya goyal, Hardik Khanna & Kanishka Mishra (Product name – Clean Surface). Third Position was bagged by Sukrati jain, Anushka Rajawat, Ayush Pal & Ramit Tejpal (Product name – Mindmat). Fourth Position bagged by Akash Bhat, Shivam Nagpal, Himanshu Verma & Ayushi Verma (Product name – Aquabreeze).

MBA student Ankit Priyadarshi was thrilled and happy as her team partner Neelam Rathore and she secured the 1st position in the Product Pitch activity. “The structure and insights provided during the event was invaluable and enlightening for us as a team. We were given a product and were allowed to prepare a pitch within 10 minutes with full specifications to have a reality check of our impromptu presentation skills,” Ankit said.

She further added, “We, as a team, are looking forward to grabbing more such opportunities in future, where we will be more confident and be there to give our best once again. Special thanks to our seniors Anish Tiwari  Mittali Gupta and Amandeep Jaiswal, our marketing Club heads, those who guided us so well and made us feel comfortable to give our best shot.”

These teams stood out for their creativity, presentation quality, and ability to effectively communicate their product’s value proposition.

The event’s success was attributed to the guidance of Marketing Club Coordinator, Dr. Preeti Suryawanshi Ma’am. Club President – Amandeep Jaiswal, Vice President – Anish Tiwari, and Event Coordinator – Mittali Gupta expressed enthusiasm for the high level of participation and creativity displayed.

Sharing her thoughts on the activity Anushka Rajawat said, “The activity was really insightful and also a wonderful opportunity to provide us a glimpse of how the activities are gonna be in the bright future of Marketing Mavericks! Looking forward to attending and hopefully contributing to many such events.”

Another MBA student Akash said, “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the seniors of the marketing club for giving us the chance to participate in this activity. Your guidance and support have been invaluable. This experience is setting us up with the essential skills needed for effective product pitching. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from your expertise.” 

This Product Pitch Challenge set a positive tone for the upcoming year, promising a calendar full of engaging activities, skill-building workshops, and opportunities for members to shine in the world of marketing. The Marketing Club looks forward to fostering growth and learning among its members throughout the academic year.

Further, Apeejay student Ayushi mentioned, “Thank you so much to the whole marketing team.Your efforts in putting together such a dynamic and engaging event are truly commendable. Looking forward to more such enriching activities in the future.”

Finally, another student Himanshu Verma, “I’d like to express my gratitude to all the seniors of the marketing club for providing us with the valuable opportunity to participate in this activity. This experience will equip us with the necessary skills to pitch our products effectively, should we decide to pursue entrepreneurship in the future.”
