 India is a mother, friendly and warm

 It’s a pond of wishes that no one can harm

 India is a wonder, which keeps one thinking

 Every Indian is a part of the family that keeps it from sinking.

 India is a land of peace and harmony

Where people of different faiths and cultures 

Live together in unity and diversity. 

India a land of progress and prosperity, 

Where science and technology

 Drive innovation and creativity

India is a land of justice and equality

Where every citizen has a voice and a choice

And enjoys the fruits of democracy

India is a land where all the streets should be clean

 No dirt and garbage should be seen

 No crime will come around and no corruption should be found

 India is a land where many schools should be constructed

 No more forests should be devastated

Every girl and woman should be safe

 Every child should be brave and strong

India is a land which harvests happiness

A touch of light in the lives of blackness

 Behold that wonder which is not left behind

This is my India-the land of dreams
