May the light of Diwali illuminate your life with joy, peace, and prosperity, guiding you toward a brighter and more enlightened path

Celebrating Diwali in schools fosters cultural awareness, unity, and respect for traditions among students. It promotes values like kindness, sharing, and environmental responsibility, while also providing an opportunity for creative expression through art and performances. Such celebrations enrich the educational experience and strengthen community bonds within the school.

On October 29, 2024, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, celebrated Diwali with a vibrant special assembly, showcasing the talents of students from Tagore and Vivekananda Houses of the Primary Wing, along with Akbar House from the Senior Wing. The event began with heartfelt prayers to Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi, setting a reverent tone for the festivities.

The highlight of the assembly was a series of inspiring skits performed by the students emphasising the importance of celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali. Through their performances, they conveyed the joyous essence of the festival, characterised by light, harmony, and the sharing of sweets. Importantly, the students also delivered a powerful message about the environmental impact of firecrackers, urging everyone to be mindful of pollution and its repercussions.

The celebration included a puja ceremony led by Ms Surabhi Joshi, Principal of the school, Ms Vandana Bansal, Vice-principal, other Incharges, teachers, and staff members, who collectively invoked divine blessings for a prosperous year ahead. This ceremonial aspect beautifully underscored the festival’s significance as a time for reflection and gratitude.

“A beautiful message was given by students of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park through a special assembly on the occasion of Diwali. Overall, the assembly was a resounding success, blending traditional values with contemporary awareness. Apeejay School wishes everyone a happy and prosperous Diwali, encouraging all to embrace the festival’s true spirit of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance.
