Illuminate Entrepreneurship Workshop inspires students at Apeejay Stya University

The E-Cell of Apeejay Stya University (ASU) successfully organised the Illuminate Entrepreneurship Workshop, an event designed to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit among students and equip them with insights into innovation, leadership, and start-up culture. The workshop served as a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to interact with industry experts and gain a deeper understanding of the dynamic start-up ecosystem.

The event began with participant registration followed by a formal inauguration ceremony. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as students, faculty members, and guests gathered to witness an intellectually stimulating and inspiring session. The proceedings commenced with a warm welcome and brief introduction by the emcee, setting the tone for the day.

A highlight of the event was the presence of the distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Vipin Aggarwal, Revenue Head at Rivigo, Mentor at E-Cell IIT Bombay and MDI Gurugram, Former Director at OYO, and a Founding Team Member of Zoom. His vast professional experience across multiple industries brought real-world perspectives to the discussions on entrepreneurship and innovation.

The Lamp Lighting Ceremony, held in the presence of Dr. Pardeep Kumar (Registrar), Prof. Sanjay Ahirwal (Dean, Students’ Welfare), and Deans of various schools, marked the auspicious beginning of the workshop. Ms. Anjali Dagar, President of the E-Cell, extended a heartfelt welcome and shared the vision behind organizing such events, emphasizing the importance of nurturing innovative thinking among students.

The workshop was structured into two insightful sessions.

• Session I focused on cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset, exploring innovation, and identifying start-up opportunities in the rapidly changing business environment.
  
• Session II was more interactive, allowing students to engage in idea-sharing activities and discussions that bridged theoretical learning with practical insights. Mr. Aggarwal shared anecdotes from his entrepreneurial journey, motivating students to pursue their ideas with determination and strategic thinking.
  

The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony, where Prof. Sanjay Ahirwal and Dr. Sonam Raheja (Faculty Coordinator, ASU E-Cell) presented a token of appreciation to the guest speaker for his valuable contribution. Ms. Anushka Saxena, Vice President of the E-Cell, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the speaker, dignitaries, and participants for making the event a success.

The Illuminate Entrepreneurship Workshop proved to be an enriching experience, leaving students inspired and better equipped to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship. It reinforced ASU’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, leadership, and experiential learning among its students.
