Igniting a new era of technological excellence 

The Installation Ceremony of the 2024-25 session of the CODE Club was held recently at Apeejay School, Noida, where 56 passionate and enthusiastic members were formally inducted. This event was designed to celebrate the budding technocrats of the school and inspire them toward excellence in the field of technology.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Vice-principal, Ms Amrita Hajela, who extended her heartfelt congratulations to the new club members. Leading the CODE Club this session is Moloy Sikka, the President of the CODE Club, alongside Vipul Mittal, the President of the Robotics Club. The Vice-principal, accompanied by the Primary In-charge, Ms Smriti Samuel, presented badges to the CODE executives as a symbol of their new responsibilities.

In a pivotal moment of the ceremony, Ms Hajela administered the Oath of Office to the newly appointed executives. She urged them to strive for technical excellence while upholding the core ethics of the club. Her words of encouragement were a call to action for the young technocrats to embrace leadership and innovation in their journey with the club.

Sharing further about the vision of this event, Sujata Bhardwaj, HoD, Computer Science at Apeejay School, Noida said, “The CODE Club is an amalgamation of technological prodigies, handpicked from Apeejay School, Noida’s student body. The Club’s members possess a wide variety of skills ranging from video editors, graphic designers, photographers, and sound engineers, to web designers, competitive programmers, AI vanguards, cyber guardians and robotics experts. The members find opportunities to learn from their peers, and gain a sense of teamwork and large-scale cooperation.”

“The CODE Club presents opportunities for those interested in learning about the tech world and the diverse possibilities it presents. For those already proficient, it provides a chance for them to improve their skills, and to expand into different domains. The club serves as an exposure to the wide world of technocrats, and keeps up a healthy feeling of competitiveness in its members through regularly participating in Inter-school events,” Ms Bhardwaj explained.  

The ceremony concluded on a high note with the screening of a special CODE movie, which showcased the variety of exciting events that the club has lined up for the upcoming CODE Symposium. This visual treat left the audience eager for what lies ahead, setting the tone for a promising year of technological exploration and achievement.

The Installation Ceremony not only recognised the contributions of the CODE members but also motivated them to excel and push the boundaries of innovation, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the school’s technical endeavours.
