What are you pursuing now in life?

I am pursuing opportunities that help me become a better teacher, mentor, and leader. I am also working towards enhancing my knowledge in areas like pedagogy and educational psychology so I can contribute meaningfully to the learning experiences of my students.

Share your fondest memories from school days.

I used to enjoy our PT periods and the art periods. Some of my happiest school memories revolve around the friendships I made and the simple joys of everyday life, sharing lunch boxes, preparing excitedly for annual functions, participating in sports events, and the fun chaos before exams. I also remember teachers who believed in me and shaped my confidence.

Your comments on the current education system. Any changes you would like to bring about?

Today’s education system has changed a lot over time. The kids are too pampered, and they have become extremely sensitive. The education system needs to teach them the value of both success and failure. Mental health awareness and emotional literacy in the school curriculum should be mandatoryIf given the opportunity, I would work towards making classrooms more interactive, inclusive, and student-centred, where learning becomes joyful and meaningful.

Give career advice for each course you pursue for future aspirants.

The students must complete their master’s after their bachelor’s. It’s a must for their bright future and for all the courses they take. Keep updating yourself with research. Precision, observation, and thoroughness will take you far. In the education field: Be passionate and compassionate. Teaching is not just a job—it’s a responsibility to shape future minds.

What’s your biggest dream and aspiration in life?

I want to become a strong and successful woman and obviously rich. I aspire to take on leadership roles in education, create innovative teaching resources, and contribute to building a system where children learn with joy, curiosity, and freedom.

What’s your biggest takeaway from Apeejay School?

I learnt the true value of discipline, integrity, and holistic development. As a student, I learnt confidence and teamwork. As a teacher, I learnt the importance of patience, empathy, and continuous learning. Apeejay Education has taught me that education is not just about academics, but about nurturing character and helping every child realise their unique potential.
