Mrs Rinki Bhatteja is a homemaker and her husband Mr. Hunny Bhatteja is a consultant at Colt Technology Services, a telecommunications company. Their daughter and only child Inaya is a class 1 student at Apeejay International School, Greater Noida. During an interview, the mother speaks about the progress of her child, who will soon be promoted to class 2. Read edited excerpts:
So how is Inaya performing at the school?
She is doing excellent! Inaya loves Math and she is best when it comes to dance and drawing. She is enjoying school a lot.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?
Yes! Aishwarya ma’am is her class teacher and she is excellent. I recently interacted with Charu ma’am, who would be my child’s class teacher in the second grade. She is also a very capable teacher. My daughter also praises Sushmita ma’am, the school dance teacher the most. She tells me she is the world’s best dance teacher.
Let us go back to the admission process. Was it easy and simple enough?
Ours was an intra-Apeejay admission case, from the Pitampura branch to Greater Noida. Greater Noida School’s Principal, Dr Sarita Pande , was very cooperative. We had an online interview with her, both for the parents as well as the child. Sarita ma’am was so friendly that my child thought she was speaking to a grandmother figure. Even in the school now, she is very amiable to all the children.

That’s lovely to hear. So what do you find to be the best thing about the school?
The atmosphere at the school is always lively and jolly. A new admission adjusts very quickly. My child is progressing a lot here, I can see it daily. In fact, recently, Inaya won the second rank in the school in the International Junior English Olympiad.
