‘I am so satisfied with my son’s progress’

Subhal Kumar is the proud parent of Advik Soni, a class 1 student at Apeejay International School, Greater Noida. Mr Subhal understands the importance of discipline to lead a highly optimal life. Therefore, he is happy that his choice of school is living up to his expectation of providing high standards of education.  In a quick interview, the father mentions how the school manages to give the most supportive environment to each student. Read edited excerpts: 

We hope Advik is enjoying school?

He is enjoying it a lot. We enrolled him in Nursery and he has adjusted very well here. At present he is in class 1, so one particular subject does not attract him much. However, if I have to mention a subject, it would be the games period. Like every boy, that is his favourite. (laughs)

That is very relatable. Which sport does he enjoy the most?

He likes karate. Advik is a very strong boy and he has already won 3 National Karate Championship medals. 

How about the teachers? Are they engaging well?

They have done a tremendous job. I have seen my son develop and learn new things everyday at school. The journey from Nursery to class 1 has been so immense and I, as a parent, am very much satisfied. I would like to specially mention my son’s Nursery grade class teacher Ms Nisha Sharma, who has played a key role in his growth.  

Was the admission process hassle free?

It was so easy. An interview of the child followed by an interview of the parent by the school Principal. Also, the staff was very cooperative. They are the same even now, as they readily solve my queries regarding fee structure and other things. 

What do you like the most about the school?

The disciplined approach to everything – the school has a good academic discipline. They are strict with the time period given to a student for submitting a project. I feel this is very essential.
