‘I am excited that my daughter has settled well at this school’

Schools must provide encouragement and support to nursery students as they navigate new experiences and challenges. “The teachers here celebrate their efforts and achievements, no matter how small, to build confidence and self-esteem. Offer guidance and assistance as needed, while also encouraging independence and problem-solving skills,” shares Malti Jain whose daughter Nayra studies in Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.

Excerpts from the interview

Why did you select Apeejay for your child?

Apeejay is the best school in Dadri. second, this school is in close proximity to our home. Most importantly, this school follows a CBSE curriculum. These are a few important factors which reinforced our decision to put our child here.

How is your daughter feeling at school?

Initially we did face a bit of a problem to make her feel comfortable at school. But my daughter is really smart and she learnt to settle easily. Now she happily looks forward to going to school daily.

What has your daughter learnt at school so far?

Nayra was going to a preschool before Apeejay so she is acquainted with most of the study material in advance. Now in Apeejay her previous learning has been honed. She can identify alphabets, numbers and narrate other study material like poems and stories.

How is the school infrastructure and teachers?

Everything so far is going well. Since my daughter is very young, we still have a long way to go with this school and hope our association becomes better with each passing day.

What is your dream for your child?

My husband and I are dermatologists so we hope our daughter continues with the same legacy and joins our cahoots.
