How do I handle my stress levels?

I wonder how God handles such a vast creation, which includes the exquisite nature, mysterious creatures, and ultimate humans.

Every creature is a contribution to maintaining the ecosystem. The most precious creatures, humans, were made to ‘Explore, Evolve and Enjoy’, which are called the three E’s. Oh! The word ‘explore’ reminds me of how exploring things excites me. Yet many of my friends banter with me for being so inquisitive. The idea of exploration gives them stress. The word ‘Stress’ is very common nowadays. From kids to old age, everyone is under stress. What is this stress monster? It is a mind state where we are not able to get or do what we want. When people are under stress, they destroy the state of harmony. The whole universe runs on a cycle; this cycle has to be in harmony because if any element is disturbed, the whole cycle could collapse. For e.g., the five elements together are running the system of the universe. Just imagine what will happen if the water cycle gets disturbed. It will affect every single thing in the universe. This principle applies to every living and non-living creature. People nowadays are becoming carefree. They are less determined and procrastinate. We all have seen termites, how they turn solid things into dusty powder. The termite called ‘Procrastination’ has kaput all our name, fame, success, and happiness.

One of my uncles, who works in a mammoth company with an ample number of employees, recently went into stress. My father told us that his company lost millions because of one accountant. He could not fulfill his responsibilities on time and procrastinated on the entire work. What I learnt is how even one single person’s delay affected so many lives. This justifies the statement ‘Each drop of water makes a sea.’ My uncle’s family got stressed too. His son, who is my friend, used abrasive words with me, which created a tiff between us. I got so furious I screamed at my younger cousin. All this aggravated anger in my mom. It was a ripple effect of stress happening.

I discussed all this with my life skills teacher. My teacher advised me that we must learn to manage our mental stress in a proper way. For e.g. we can make planners beforehand and give it to our super genie (our Mind). It will follow the routine, which can reduce our work stress. We must break our old patterns and wrong habits to get real peace. We must live in awareness and be responsible for our actions. Meditations, along with hobbies, can be good stress busters.

Do you know I also joined meditation classes to activate my Super genie, enjoy my peace of mind, and become the owner of my happiness? Now no one can influence my state of mind. Let’s live with awareness, to cut out the mess of this stress, just as I did.
