How Apeejay Stya University Shaped My Journey

Some universities give you a degree. Apeejay Stya University gives you direction, confidence, values, and a future. My journey at ASU is proof of what dedicated mentoring and a nurturing academic environment can create. From my very first day, Dr. Sunil Kumar Roy became the guiding force who shaped my confidence and personality. His lectures were much more than lessons; they were life teachings. He taught me how to speak, how to think, how to carry myself with dignity, and how to keep going even when life becomes difficult. His influence still echoes in everything I do.

Then I met Ms. Neha Thakur, the first professor to see a researcher and a performer inside me. She encouraged me to write, guided me through my first research paper, and constantly motivated me to participate in competitions and academic activities. Her belief pushed me to achieve what I had never imagined.

Dr. Akanchha Singh played an equally transformative role. She trusted my capabilities and opened the door for my first book chapter. With her guidance and support, I went on to become an international author with a Taylor and Francis publication. Her mentorship has been one of the strongest pillars of my growth.

And through Dr. Sonam Raheja and Dr. Shatakshi Srivastava, I discovered my artistic side — singing, dancing, elocution, mimicry — everything I once thought I could never do. They helped me gain confidence on stage and pushed me to win multiple trophies for the university.

When I look back at my journey, one truth stands out clearly: Apeejay Stya University does not just educate students. It transforms them.

At ASU, professors do not just teach subjects. They build confidence. They shape careers. They recognise talents. They turn ordinary students into extraordinary individuals.

Every milestone in my life — whether it is becoming a researcher, an author, a performer, or an international contributor — carries the mark of the faculty who guided me with dedication, warmth, and belief.

Apeejay Stya University is not just an institution. For me, it has been a turning point, a family, and the foundation of everything I am becoming.
