Honouring the Visionary: Founder’s Day 2025 at Apeejay School, Saket

Apeejay School, Saket, came alive with a sense of respect, pride, and reflection on 4th and 6th October as the school community celebrated the 106th Birth Anniversary of its revered Late Dr Stya Paul, Founder Chairman , Apeejay Stya Group & Apeejay Education. Known for his vision, philanthropy, and dedication to education, Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s ideals continue to inspire generations of learners.

The celebrations commenced with a solemn Pushpanjali, a symbolic offering of flowers to honour the life and contributions of Dr. Stya Paul Ji. This simple yet profound gesture reminded everyone present of the values of humility, gratitude, and service – principles central to his philosophy.

Inspirational Messages: Learning from Leaders

The highlight of the celebration on 6th October was the heartfelt message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, read by Principal Dr Sujeet Eric Masih. Her words emphasised the importance of nurturing dedication, excellence, and humaneness – core values that every student is encouraged to embody in daily life.

Adding depth to the celebration, the school welcomed Shri Rajneesh Vats Ji, Magistrate, CWC, a noted social worker and reformer, as the Chief Guest. In his enlightening address, Shri Vats spoke about the significance of Law, Child Welfare, and the Juvenile Justice System, connecting these concepts to the importance of ethical values in personal and social life. His daughter, Ms. Surabhi Vats, an accomplished Advocate and University Law Topper, further inspired the students by sharing insights on pursuing social causes with passion and purpose.

These sessions offered students a valuable learning opportunity to understand that leadership is not just about personal achievement but about making a positive impact on society.

Honouring Human Values:

A special moment of pride was the conferment of the Dr. Stya Paul Award for Human Values for 2025–26. After a rigorous selection process beginning at the class level and culminating at the central office, four exemplary students were recognised for their commitment to empathy, honesty, respect, and service:

Soaham Krishna Sharma – Class XII
