Apeejay School, Tanda Road in Jalandhar, recently hosted a solemn ceremony to pay homage to the esteemed Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji, beloved wife of late Founder-Chairman Dr Stya Paul, and mother of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University and Chairman, Apeejay Education. The event aimed to commemorate the life and contributions of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji, affectionately remembered as the First Lady of the Apeejay Stya Group.
The ceremony, known as Punyatithi, began with a respectful atmosphere as students from the Pre-Primary wing to class VIII, along with faculty members, gathered to honour her memory. The lighting of lamps marked the commencement of the event, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and the dispelling of darkness with wisdom.
Floral tributes were offered by both students and staff members, reflecting the deep respect and reverence held for Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji. Even the youngest members of the Apeejay family participated in the tribute, underscoring the universal love and remembrance for her.
