Teachers’ Day at the school was not just an event this year — it was an unforgettable carnival of joy, creativity, and heartfelt gratitude. On the same note, the campus of Apeejay School, Noida, turned into a vibrant hub of festivities for “Mehfil-e-Mentors”, an occasion dedicated to honouring the guiding lights who nurture and shape young minds. From red-carpet welcomes to laughter-filled games, every corner of the celebration reflected admiration and love for teachers. 

The day began on a glamorous note as faculty members walked down a red carpet, greeted warmly by students brimming with excitement. Adding a special touch, the Editorial Board interviewed the teachers, capturing their thoughts and smiles in candid moments. The lively atmosphere was enhanced by carnival-inspired attractions, a ticket counter, photo booths, and personalised gift bags that left every teacher with a treasured memory to carry home.

A highlight of the morning was the delightful Teachers’ Dress-Up segment, where students came dressed as their mentors, playfully mimicking their style and mannerisms. Middle schoolers brought additional cheer by setting up food and game stalls, infusing the grounds with youthful energy and laughter.

Stepping into leadership roles for the day, the Head Boy and Head Girl confidently donned the mantle of Principals for the Day, addressing the gathering with warmth and wit. The official inauguration by Principal Dr Neha Sharma set the tone for the cultural extravaganza that followed.

The cultural programme opened with a melodious song that resonated with gratitude, followed by a graceful dance performance that tugged at the heartstrings. The joyous cake-cutting ceremony added sweetness to the celebration, while interactive rounds like Guess the Teacher and Guess the Song by Emoji kept everyone laughing and engaged. Flash mobs sprung up unexpectedly, electrifying the atmosphere and adding to the sense of spontaneity.

The event’s finale was an impressive magic performance that captivated the audience with awe and wonder. In her address, Dr Sharma recalled her English teacher who had deeply inspired her academic journey, reminding everyone of the timeless bond between teachers and students.

Mehfil-e-Mentors truly lived up to its name; a gathering of respect, love, and festivity. It wasn’t just a celebration but a meaningful tribute, reminding all that teachers are more than educators; they are mentors, role models, and lifelong inspirations. The day ended with smiles, applause, and a renewed sense of gratitude for those who continue to illuminate the path for generations.
