Honouring excellence by celebrating achievers of this school 

Apeejay School, Saket fostered a culture of excellence and growth at its annual academic awards ceremony – Dakshta Padak Samaroh 2024

The Dakshta Padak Samaroh is an annual prize distribution ceremony which is organised to honour and celebrate the academic achievements of its meritorious students. The event recognises students’ hard work, dedication, and excellence in academics, fostering a culture of motivation and encouraging continuous personal and educational growth within the school community by fostering a culture of healthy competition. The ceremony recognises hard work, builds self-esteem, and strengthens the school community by involving parents, teachers, and peers in acknowledging and celebrating success.

Recently, Apeejay School, Saket, held its annual prize distribution ceremony, the Dakshta Padak Samaroh. The event stood as a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering educational excellence and encouraging holistic growth. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, a symbolic gesture signifying the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. This was followed by a heartfelt recitation of Ganesh Vandana, creating an atmosphere of reverence and cultural significance.

The esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Surender Singh Bidhuri, Member of the Legislative Assembly representing the Badarpur Constituency, and Founder, Swabhiman Desh ka Sangathan, graced the occasion. In his inspiring address, Shri Bidhuri highlighted the values of dedication, hard work, and patriotism, urging students to aim high and achieve their dreams.

The event was further elevated by the presence of Mrs Anshu Goel, Ward President of the Women’s Wing, Saket, who commended the students for their hard work and encouraged them to continue on their path to success. The school was also honoured to welcome alumnus Nimayak Samraat, Vice-president of the BJP Lado Sarai Mandal. He shared his experiences and inspired the younger generation to pursue excellence in both their academic and personal lives. Mr Sujeet Eric Masih, the school Principal, also gave a speech that inspired everyone present.

During the ceremony, 134 students were honoured for their outstanding academic performance, receiving certificates and awards in recognition of their achievements. Special appreciation was given to students who demonstrated remarkable self-growth and perseverance, acknowledging their continuous efforts to excel. 

The proud parents of the awardees attended the event, expressing their gratitude for the school’s initiative to recognise and celebrate student achievements. Many parents noted that such events serve as a significant source of motivation for their children, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and dedication to their studies.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs Ashu Khattar. She expressed appreciation to the dignitaries for their presence and for contributing to the event’s grand success. She thanked the students, parents, and staff as well. Overall, the Dakshta Padak Samaroh 2024 was a proud celebration of student accomplishments and a reaffirmation of Apeejay School, Saket’s unwavering commitment to shaping the leaders of tomorrow through academic excellence and holistic development.
