Honouring academic achievers with pride and purpose

Events like the Investiture and Scholar Badge Ceremony are vital for school students as they instil a sense of responsibility, leadership, and recognition for academic excellence. Such occasions motivate students to excel, nurture their confidence, and foster a culture of achievement, encouraging them to contribute positively to their school and community.

Keeping this in mind, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, hosted its eagerly anticipated Investiture and Scholar Badge Ceremony, celebrating leadership and academic excellence with great enthusiasm. The event honoured the newly elected prefectorial board and recognised the outstanding achievements of the school’s academic achievers. 

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and wisdom. The Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha, extended a heartfelt welcome to the gathering and expressed immense pride in the students’ accomplishments. He emphasised the significance of leadership, accountability, and academic excellence in shaping a brighter future for students.

“The Investiture and Scholar Badge Ceremony is a testament to the excellence our students continue to achieve, both in academics and leadership. I congratulate all badge holders and scholars for their dedication and hard work. May they inspire their peers to strive for greatness and carry the Apeejay legacy forward with pride,” Dr.Vineet Vasishtha said.   

During the formal induction of the prefectorial board for the academic session 2024-25, Head Boy, Vartul, and Head Girl, Tanvi, both from class XI, along with other board members, were pinned with badges and sashes. They pledged to uphold the school’s values and diligently perform their responsibilities. In their speeches, both student leaders expressed gratitude for the trust placed in them and committed to working tirelessly for the school’s progress.

The second segment of the ceremony focused on academic excellence. Students from class III onwards who achieved 95% and above in their exams were awarded the prestigious scholar badges. Dr Vasishtha presented the badges, congratulating the young scholars for their hard work and encouraging them to aim higher. The presence of proud parents added to the celebratory atmosphere.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice-principal, followed by the National Anthem. The day was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering leadership and academic brilliance, inspiring students to strive for greater achievements and contribute positively to society.
