Siya Mahajan emerges as a shining star, securing a remarkable 84% in the exams, closely followed by Mehakpreet Kaur and Harjot Kaur, both scoring an impressive 81.8%.These students have not only made their school proud, but have also set an inspiring example for their peers.

Striving for excellence with support and determination

Siya Mahajan, the top scorer with 84%, shares her journey to success. “My stronger subjects were Mathematics and English, and weaker subjects were Hindi and Social Studies,” Siya further explains. “First of all, I dedicated more time for preparation to my weaker subjects, and for my stronger ones, I practiced more and more questions.”
Siya draws inspiration from her mother’s expectations as she mentions , “I wanted to see her happy and so, I put in a lot of effort and scored well.” Siya expresses gratitude to her parents for their unwavering support. “My parents used to motivate me to do more and more questions,” she adds.
Siya plans to pursue the Non-Medical stream in Class 11, aiming to crack the JEE Mains and Advance exams. She aspires to become a Computer Science Engineer. Siya’s success mantra revolves around practicing diligently and finding motivation from parents, relatives, and teachers. She also acknowledges the support of her school’s principal and teachers, who guided her throughout her journey.
Diligence, focus, and inspirational guidance
Another outstanding achiever Mehakpreet Kaur, who scored 81.8%, reveals how she achieved this success. “My stronger subjects were languages English, Punjabi, and IT,” Mehakpreet shares. Reflecting on her weak subject, she adds, “The subject I was weak in was Maths.” Mehakpreet adopted a balanced approach to study, dedicating 4-5 hours every day to learning with utmost concentration.
Sharing her success mantra, she says, “My teachers inspired me a lot and gave me the courage to do well.” Mehakpreet’s parents also played a pivotal role in this journey, always offering help and support. She has chosen the Medical stream and aspires to pursue a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course.
The topper acknowledges that the continuous encouragement she received from her parents, peers, and teachers led to this achievement.
Overcoming challenges with determination and support
Sharing her inspiring story, Harjot Kaur, another remarkable achiever with 81.8%, proudly states, “My stronger subject was English, and I was very confident that I would score 90+ marks in the subject.” However, she admits, “My weaker subject was Social Studies, and I had a feeling that I wouldn’t be able to get even 70+ marks in the subject, because it had a vast syllabus.” Thus, Harjot strategically managed her time to prepare well for all the subjects. “I used to prioritise subjects with vast syllabi like English, Maths, and SST and allocated more time for them.”
Despite her commitments as a national-level hockey player, she managed to cover the entire syllabus. Sharing her future aspirations, Harjot expresses, “I want to represent my family and school and score well.” Her parents were her backbone, providing unwavering support and never pressuring her to score well academically. Harjot has chosen the Medical stream and dreams of pursuing a BDS degree from a university abroad.
