Prisha Chandna is diving into the sea of creative writing. Whether it be poetry or articles on her blog or even trendy jingles, she is fast learning the art of floating on all waves in the endless tide.

Selected as this week’s Poet of the week, let us hear Prisha map her progress and explain how various new forms of creativite formats are influencing her to write better.

Prisha, what more new forms of literature have you indulged in offlate?

I have been working on a blog-post, a poem and also on a jingle.

Wow, that seems so interesting, please tell us more?

So my blog talks about decoding the play of human psychology in the cyber world. I am working on that and I feel it is a very relevant theme and many readers are connecting with it. On the other hand my next  poem titled ‘Feel the sun’ is a work where the poet talks about her feelings of enjoying the sun after many rainy days. And the jinggle is for an event on counterfeiting and smuggling. So, it has been many creative days for me of late.

And any new books read or a new movie or web series you saw that inspired the writer in you?

A Netflix series – Anne With An E inspired me to write about how changes have a big impact on us. With new surroundings our behaviour changes – sometimes we are anxious , nervous or excited; but with time everything falls into place and we fall in love with life again.

So how is your school encouraging you?

My school provides me with the opportunity of participating in different creative writing activities – many in house and some  interschool as well. My teachers always guide me well.

Do you follow any poets on social media?

I follow 2 poetry channels online: Ceispoetry and Unerasepoetry.

And do you too put your poems on social media?

My writings are limited to my dairy only as of now.

So what are your creative ambitions in the future?

As a writer, I want to address different social issues which we come across in our day to day life. That intrigues me a lot.
