What are you doing professionally now?

I’m at present, working as a Marketing Specialist at Affordplan in Gurugram. My role involves managing both ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) marketing initiatives, along with being actively involved in digital marketing. I’m also a part of the design team, helping create eye-catching content for both customers and clients.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I’ve recently moved to Delhi and my commute to work takes about one-and-a-half hours via metro. I make sure to wake up early to prepare meals and take time for yoga and running to stay physically and mentally fit. During my commute, I usually read books. Right now, I’m enjoying The Catcher in the Rye.

Tell us about your time at ASU.

My time here was incredibly enriching. I engaged in various events, from Subharambh to the Budget Symposium, and immersed myself in cultural activities. Taking on the role of event organiser for Bollywood Day was particularly rewarding, as I managed food stalls and focused on profitability, which greatly contributed to my personal growth.

How was the faculty?

The faculty here was exceptional — knowledgeable and supportive. Each professor had a unique teaching style; one was known for engaging storytelling, while another offered practical insights. Their wealth of experience significantly enriched our learning experience, making classes both informative and inspiring.

Any message for the students of the university.

Keep things simple and remember that creativity alone may not suffice. Think outside the box and cultivate friendships with those who support your growth, not just for fun. Maximise your time by learning skills beyond the university curriculum to enhance both your personal and professional development.
