Fresher’s Party 2025: An evening of talent, camaraderie, and celebration

Apeejay School of Management (ASM) hosted the much-awaited Fresher’s Day celebration, marking a vibrant beginning for the new batch of students. Organised with great enthusiasm by the Cultural Team—Dr. Pooja Sharma Chaturvedi, Dr. Chhaya Wadhwa, Prof. Nupur Soti, and Prof. Anushka Goel— along with active student participation, the event was a perfect blend of warmth, creativity, and youthful energy.

The evening unfolded with a series of cultural performances by both seniors and freshers. Energetic dance numbers, soulful singing, and engaging acts kept the audience captivated and created an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. The performances not only showcased artistic expression but also reflected the spirit of inclusivity that the institution fosters.

One of the key highlights of the celebration was the Mr. & Ms. Fresher’s Contest 2025, a platform for freshers to display their confidence, talent, and style. The event drew tremendous excitement as participants took to the stage with poise and creativity. Adding to the grandeur was the distinguished panel of judges—Dr. Shalini Vermani, Dr. Ishita Adhikari, and Dr. Ahmad Khan— who evaluated each contestant with fairness and appreciation.

In her reflection, Dr. Vernika Agarwal, Associate Professor, lauded the confidence and creativity of the freshers, observing how such events instill a sense of belonging and strengthen bonds among students. Dr. Ahmad Zaman Khan, Assistant Professor, also expressed his appreciation, noting that the enthusiasm of both juniors and seniors was heartwarming. He emphasized that the evening beautifully set the tone for an engaging academic journey ahead.

Enthusiastic students shared their excitement. “It was an unforgettable experience. The warmth and energy from the seniors made us feel like we truly belong here. I really enjoyed the talent showcase, which gave everyone a chance to express themselves beyond academics. The performances by our seniors were full of energy and made us feel very welcomed. This day will remain one of my fondest memories of college life,” said a PGDM student Smiti.  

Another student Mahenoor expressed, “From the performances to the contest, everything was so well-organized. It felt like a dream start to our college journey. I loved how the seniors cheered for us throughout and made sure we were comfortable. The coordination, decorations, and enthusiasm in the hall gave such a festive vibe. More than just an event, it felt like a warm celebration of new beginnings. I am looking forward to creating many more such memories.”

The Fresher’s Party 2025 was more than just a cultural evening—it was a symbolic welcome, bridging the gap between seniors and juniors and fostering a vibrant campus spirit. With its memorable performances, spirited contests, and heartfelt camaraderie, the event will undoubtedly be remembered by the new batch as the perfect start to their college journey.
