Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar formed APEX (Apeejay Professionals & Ex – Students’ Exchange) Alumni Committee

The Alumni Cell of Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar, has taken a significant step towards strengthening its alumni network by forming APEX (Apeejay Professionals & Ex – Students’ Exchange) Alumni Committee. This committee comprises distinguished Apeejay professionals and former students of ACFA, aiming to bridge the gap between past and present students while fostering a sense of community and mentorship.

Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra, while addressing the event, highlighted the essential role that alumni play in upholding and carrying forward the heritage, culture, and traditions of the college. She emphasised, “Alumni involvement is important in shaping the future of current students, stating that their experiences and achievements serve as a source of motivation and guidance.” 

Dr. Dhingra further remarked that students currently pursuing their degrees can gain valuable insights and direction in life by engaging with their alumni, discussing career paths, and learning from their journeys.

The Alumni Committee consists of an esteemed group of members, including Amarjot Singh, Akash Nagpal, Nikhil Mahajan, Anuj Madaan, Ankur Jain, Nidhi Sharma, Manpreet Singh Gaba, Harpreet Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Nidhi Beri, Zorawar Singh, Dr. Anadi Mishra, Rajat Aggarwal, and Amandeep Kaur. Their diverse expertise and experiences bring a wealth of knowledge that can benefit the students in various ways.

During the event, these committee members were honored by Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra and Dr. Jagmohan Mago, Dean of the Alumni Committee. As a token of appreciation and encouragement, they were presented with planters. The gesture symbolised growth, nurturing, and the strong connection between the college and its alumni. The members were encouraged to actively participate in college activities in the future and contribute towards the holistic development of the students.

The formation of the Alumni Committee marks a significant milestone in ACFA’s commitment to strengthening its alumni relations. Through this initiative, the college aims to create a dynamic platform where former students can reconnect with their alma mater, share their professional experiences, and mentor current students.

The event concluded on a positive note, with enthusiasm and commitment from both the alumni and the administration to make this initiative a success. The college looks forward to fostering more interactions, mentorship programs, and collaborative activities between alumni and students. This initiative will undoubtedly contribute to the personal and professional growth of students while keeping the spirit of ACFA alive within its alumni community.
