‘Flashbacks’: Poem by Avni, ACFA

Shining eyes, gazing the beautiful sky,

Where lots of dream and wishes lie

Tears came out from my eyes,

Howsoever hard my heart tries

Don’t want anyone to see them,

Wiping them away with my shirt’s hem

One shouldn’t tell how they feel,

Or else it becomes really difficult to heal

The wounds caused by others shouldn’t matter!

But who knows crying it out might make one feel better!
