The prestigious “Griffith University Educators Meet” was recently held at Hotel Eros, Delhi, bringing together academic leaders and educators from top colleges and universities across the Delhi NCR region. Organised by Griffith University, Australia, the event served as a platform for fostering dialogue, exchanging ideas, and exploring collaborative avenues in higher education between India and Australia.
Representing the Apeejay School of Management, three esteemed faculty members—Dr. Ishita Adhikari (Associate Professor, HR), Dr. Vernika Aggarwal (Associate Professor, Business Analytics), and Dr. Pooja C. Sharma (Assistant Professor, Finance)—attended the meet, actively participating in discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.
The highlight of the event was a series of insightful talks delivered by senior members of Griffith University’s academic team, including Prof. Caitlin Byrne, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Business), and Associate Prof. Anna Kwek, Director (International). They addressed the gathering with a strong emphasis on fostering India-Australia educational partnerships to collaboratively address shared global challenges. Their presentations inspired meaningful dialogue around innovation, internationalization, and interdisciplinary approaches to business education.
One of the key sessions at the meet was focused on the timely and relevant topic, “The Future of Work: How AI and Automation Are Reshaping Business.” This thought-provoking discussion explored the evolving dynamics of the business world and how educational institutions can adapt to equip students with the skills necessary for success in the age of technology and digital transformation.
