Hello everyone, I always love to watch & spot the stars and planets in the sky. I saw a lot of news about the planet parade happening in the sky this month. On January 25, 2025, a planetary alignment graced the night sky, featuring Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. This celestial event, often referred to as a “planetary parade,” has been observable since mid-January and is expected to continue until mid-February.

During this period, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are visible to the naked eye shortly after sunset, while Uranus and Neptune require binoculars or a telescope for observation. The alignment creates a striking visual in the night sky.

Mars, the fourth planet of our solar system, can be easily identified as a bright yellow and red star. That’s why it’s also called the Red planet.

Venus, the second and hottest planet can be spotted as the brightest star in the sky and a little below Venus, there was Saturn , the sixth planet with beach rings, which was a little difficult to spot but due to its closeness to Venus , it was identified. But its rings can be seen only through a telescope.

Jupiter , the fifth and the largest planet of the solar system, was also clearly visible as a bright star being different from other stars.

We tracked the position of two other planets also but they were really hard to see without a telescope.

This planet parade has been visible since January 21st and is going to stay visible for a whole month so let’s try to watch all of those with a telescope because it’s a rare opportunity to see so many planets together.
