The winter carnival stands as a celebration of community spirit, creativity, and shared joy, bringing students, parents, and educators together in a vibrant space that reflects the school’s warmth, energy, and commitment to joyful learning. Keeping this in mind, on December 27, 2025, Apeejay School, Pitampura, held its most-awaited event, Euphoria 2025, the winter carnival

The event was honoured by the Chief Guest, Mr Ashish Sood, Minister of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. The school was also privileged to welcome the Special Guests, Mr Rajkumar Bhatia, Vice-president, BJP Delhi Pradesh, Shri Rajneesh Gupta, Joint Commissioner of Police, IFSO, Delhi Police, and Mr Nitin Jindal, Additional Director of Education, who added grace and significance to the occasion.

All the dignitaries were given a heartfelt welcome by the school Principal, Ms Veena Goel. She accorded all the esteemed guests a green welcome symbolising a greener tomorrow. The dignitaries were also felicitated with a token of appreciation for taking time out of their busy schedule to attend the carnival. Also present were Vice-principal Dr Renuka Kamal, dedicated school In-charges and Dr Sujeet Eric Masih, Principal, Apeejay School, Saket, proud parents and enthusiastic students.

Ms Goel then extended a warm welcome for gracing the celebration with their presence. “I extend a warm and respectful welcome to our esteemed guests. Your presence adds great significance to our celebration. This celebration marks a special moment, and your presence makes it even more memorable.”

Speaking at the celebration, the Minister of Education said, “Schools should not restrict their focus to CGPAs alone. The confidence displayed by students from Classes II and III was truly commendable. The ease and assurance with which the young children performed on stage reflect the quality of training and the nurturing environment provided by the school. Such exposure at an early age helps students think beyond marks and builds confidence that stays with them throughout life.”

Highlighting the Delhi Government’s efforts, he said that significant steps are being taken to strengthen education infrastructure. This year, 7,000 smart classrooms are being set up, with another 21,000 planned over the next four years in government schools. Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and face recognition systems are also being introduced to reduce repetitive tasks for teachers and allow greater focus on teaching.

“The emotional, mental, physical, and overall well-being of every child, whether studying in a private or government school, remains a shared responsibility. The vibrancy witnessed at the carnival should extend into classrooms, helping children learn, grow, and excel,” the Minister said.

Mr Bhatia, taking the stage, said, “Namaskar. Across Delhi, I am often called Roti Bank Raju. I am grateful to share that the Apeejay School has been supporting the Roti Bank initiative consistently for the past nine years. Started in 2015, this effort has served nearly 37,90,000 people without government aid or grants. I sincerely thank the parents and everyone who has stood by this mission.”

Taking the stage, Mr Gupta said,“I would like to thank the school for inviting me. I would like to share a simple yet meaningful concept known as the ARC (Affinity, Reality, and Communication) triangle, which is relevant for everyone present.”

Affinity, he shared, refers to liking or feeling connected to someone. Reality, or commonality, refers to what is common between two people. “The third element is Communication. When affinity and commonality exist, communication flows naturally. The beauty of the ARC triangle is that if one side becomes weaker, the other two also shrink. If communication stops, affinity reduces. If commonality fades, communication becomes difficult. However, if you strengthen even one side of the triangle, the other two automatically grow stronger,” he explained and added that this simple principle helps people understand each other better and build stronger relationships. He also appreciated the wonderful arrangements and the overall performance that the students put up.

The school expressed heartfelt gratitude to the partners and sponsors whose support made the event a grand success. The carnival was proudly presented by Valedra, with Cloud9 Hospital as the health partner, Kedan’s Infotech as the technology partner, and Sri Durga Scaffolding, SDS Group by Madhavanand, as the sponsor. Their generous contributions played a key role in bringing the vibrant celebration to life.

And what a celebration it truly was. From the very entrance, visitors were swept into an atmosphere brimming with excitement, laughter, lively games, and moments of pure joy. From parents to grandparents to guardians to students, the grounds reverberated with cheerful conversations, shared smiles, and a collective sense of festivity that brought the entire school community together.

But what stole everyone’s hearts were the absolutely amazing performances by the Apeejayites, especially the Pre-primary Fiesta Parade. The stage was alive with their bright costumes and cheerful movements. Each group represented a different colour, filling the campus with innocence, energy, and smiles, and setting a joyful tone for the carnival.

This was followed by The Real Rhythm, a vibrant dance performance that seamlessly blended grace, passion, and energy. Their synchronised movements, expressive choreography, and confident presence reflected dedicated practice and a strong sense of rhythm, drawing warm applause from the audience.

The student ramp walk added a lively dose of charm and confidence as students showcased expressive walks, playful poses, and confident strides. More than fashion, the performance celebrated individuality, attitude, and joy, as the young participants walked with big smiles and infectious enthusiasm.

The excitement continued with another high-energy group dance by the students. Bursting with enthusiasm and dynamic moves, the performance kept the audience engaged and highlighted the students’ coordination, stamina, and love for performing, making it one of the most spirited moments of the event.

Taking everyone down memory lane, students presented a nostalgic dance performance set to popular music from the 80s and 90s. The thoughtfully chosen tracks and expressive choreography created a delightful blend of past and present, earning appreciative smiles from parents and grandparents alike.

Adding a melodic touch to the festivities, several students entertained the audience with soulful and lively song performances. Their confident vocals and expressive renditions created moments of warmth and connection, drawing appreciative applause and enriching the carnival atmosphere with music and joy.

The celebration featured lively entertainment, thrilling rides, engaging games, delicious food stalls, a photo booth, and VR experiences, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

Students thronged the game booths that were set up by the students of Classes II, III and even IV to name a few. Each with coupons in their hands wanted to win as many prizes as they could. Those who could not enjoyed the fun in just playing.

The rides were another highlight of the carnival. From the Giant Wheel to the Dragon ride, the Mickey Mouse slides, and the cheerful train rides, each attraction drew long queues of excited children, adding thrill, laughter, and nonstop energy to the festive atmosphere.

The Haunted House proved to be a major attraction for the older students and adults, while the younger ones preferred to keep their distance. Instead, they happily thronged the food stalls, gorging on a wide range of delicious treats and festive favourites like potato twisters, chaat, and bhel puri, to name a few.

Elsewhere, some enterprising students decided to showcase their talent, be it dance, music, or art. With prizes to take away, the students lined up for on-the-spot registration.

The parents and grandparents, too, enjoyed the festivities as they shopped and enjoyed Fateh ki Kachori and Daulat ki Chaat. Parents were advised to keep their tickets with them for the exciting raffle prizes!

The festivities concluded on an unexpected and exhilarating note with a surprise flash mob dance that instantly drew crowds and applause. The spontaneous performance brought everyone together, capturing the spirit of celebration and leaving the campus buzzing with excitement, smiles, and memories that lingered long after the carnival came to a close.
