Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Model Town, Jalandhar, recently celebrated Independence Day with the theme Viksit Bharat, showcasing the vibrant spirit of the nation. The celebration was marked by a colourful display as the little ones from Nursery, LKG, and UKG dressed in saffron, white, and green, symbolising the Indian National Flag. Their attire not only represented the flag but also instilled a sense of national pride among the children.
The event was a delightful spectacle, with the young students performing captivating dances to various patriotic songs. The children from LKG and UKG impressed everyone with their well-coordinated performances as they delivered heartfelt talks, songs, and rhymes that echoed the significance of Independence Day. Their enthusiasm and innocence brought a refreshing energy to the celebration, leaving the audience inspired and emotional.
Ms Priyanka Grover, Officiating Principal of Apeejay School, Model Town, took the opportunity to engage with the children, encouraging their patriotic sentiments by asking them questions about the country. Her interaction not only motivated the young minds but also made the celebration more interactive and meaningful.
The celebration was also graced by the virtual presence of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, whose vision of inculcating Indian values in young minds was beautifully reflected in the day’s activities. Mrs. Berlia has always emphasised the importance of nurturing respect for India’s rich heritage and culture from an early age, ensuring that children grow up with a deep sense of pride and love for their country.
Headmistress pre-Primary Ms Nidhi Ghai, along with the dedicated team of teachers, played a pivotal role in organising the event. Their collective efforts ensured that the day was not only educational but also a memorable experience for the children, instilling in them the true essence of independence and patriotism.
